Colt Camron Lien is a versatile professional active in the fields of conducting, composition, education, and vocal performance. Residing in Alexandria, MN, Colt currently serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Alexandria Area High School, where he passionately imparts his expertise in music, student mentorship, and the pedagogy of choral arts. He holds a M.M. degree in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University and a B.M. degree in Music Education from Concordia College - Moorhead.

During his time at Concordia, Lien individually studied choral composition and arrangement under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed composer and conductor René Clausen. Colt also gained invaluable experience collaborating with Dr. Michael Culloton, assisting in the direction of the Minnesota All-State Lutheran Choir during its annual two-week tour across Minnesota.

Colt Camron Lien's professional engagements have also included serving as Chorus Master for the Fargo-Moorhead Opera and the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra. His performance credits encompass a wide range of style and repertoire, including opera, musical theater, art song, and vocal jazz.

Beyond professional endeavors, Colt indulges in exploring diverse coffee blends at local cafes with colleagues, discovering scenic hiking trails with friends, and engaging in a round of golf before noon!
